Debbie Rider & Torrey Kingry formed the musical acoustic duo "Mum'z the Word!" in 1996 after they had their first children. They had worked together on casino cruise ships out of Mayport, Florida, honing their singing skills for harmonies and trading lead vocals seamlessly, while covering popular songs with their special style and creating original songs as well. Torrey plays acoustic guitar, bass, flute, and recorder; Debbie, percussion , piano, and mandolin, but the star of the duo is the vocal sound they blend like honey as they weave lead and harmony vocals in haunting symmetry.
